Game description

Released in 1998, Half-Life tells the story of Gordon Freeman, a young scientist working at the secret Black Mesa Research Facility. During a routine experiment, a catastrophic accident opens interdimensional portals, allowing hostile alien creatures to invade Earth. Trapped inside the devastated complex, Gordon must fight for survival against both extraterrestrial threats and military forces sent to cover up the disaster. As he journeys through the facility, he uncovers a larger conspiracy and faces increasingly dangerous enemies. Combining immersive storytelling, action-packed gameplay, and a gripping sci-fi atmosphere, Half-Life became one of the most influential first-person shooters ever created.
