Dead Rising

In Dead Rising (2016), photojournalist Frank West returns to the zombie-infested town of Willamette, Colorado, fifteen years after surviving the original outbreak. What begins as an investigation into a mysterious new outbreak quickly turns into another fight for survival as the city is overrun by hordes of undead. Frank soon discovers that the outbreak is connected to a sinister conspiracy involving biological experiments and the creation of increasingly dangerous zombies. Armed with an arsenal of improvised weapons and his trademark camera, he battles through the chaos while rescuing survivors and uncovering the truth. Along the way, Frank encounters ruthless criminals, bizarre psychopaths, and deadly infected creatures. As the situation grows more dangerous, he must confront both the undead and the human forces responsible for the disaster. His investigation ultimately leads him toward a hidden organization with its own plans for exploiting the outbreak. Frank must survive the nightmare once again and expose the conspiracy before it spreads far beyond Willamette.
