| ⵜⴰⵣⵎⵉⵍⵜ ⵏ ⵜⵙⵏⵙⵉⵔⵜ | Following the commercial failure of Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness in 2003, Eidos transferred Tomb Raider development to Crystal Dynamics. In 2006, Rebellion Developments acquired Core Design's development assets and staff, while Eidos retained the Core Design name and intellectual property. The operation became Rebellion (Derby) Ltd. and continued under Rebellion until the Derby studio closed on 17 March 2010. The closure followed Rebellion's restructuring and the expiry of the studio's office lease. |
