Set three years after the original outbreak in Willamette, Dead Rising 2 follows Chuck Greene, a former motocross champion and devoted father struggling to survive in the zombie-infested city of Fortune City. After a devastating outbreak, Chuck becomes the prime suspect when the media accuses him of causing the disaster, forcing him to fight not only hordes of undead but also the authorities pursuing him. Desperate to protect his infected daughter Katey, Chuck must obtain the life-saving drug Zombrex while searching for answers about the outbreak.
